‘Camlet’, derived from the tabby woven camel hair cloth from the Middle East, was coined for the woolen cloth on which Suffolk’s wealth was founded in the 18th century. Created for Gainsborough by Heritage Trimmings, a complementary braid accompanies the design, pairing well with each of Camlet’s 10 beautiful colourways.
