Gainsborough granted Royal Warrant by His Majesty King Charles III

Gainsborough Silk Weaving Co. Ltd have retained their Royal Warrant of Appointment for Manufacturing of Furnishing Fabrics as granted by His Majesty King Charles III.

Since 1981, Gainsborough have proudly held a Royal Warrant for their walling, curtains and upholstery services in royal palaces including Buckingham Palace, St James’s Palace, Kensington Palace and Windsor Castle, and more recently in carriages for the weddings of the Prince and Princess of Wales and the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.

Since its formation by Reginald Warner in 1903, Gainsborough has been producing some of the world’s finest interior furnishing fabrics, earning a reputation for high quality damasks, tapestries and velvets.

Royal Warrants of Appointment are a mark of recognition to those who supply goods or services to the Royal Households of The Monarch. Speaking about the news, Neil Thomas, Managing Director of Gainsborough, said, “It is a tremendous honour to have our Royal Warrant renewed. Underpinning the success of Gainsborough for over 120 years has been our commitment to upholding the integrity of traditional techniques and quality craftsmanship.
